Britain will need a miracle to avoid the national disaster approaching in 19 days. At this point, only divine intervention can save them from self-inflicted injuries, and I doubt it is forthcoming.

How May is still PM baffles me.

I’m thinking that the answer to that last point is simply that Theresa May - awful as she is - is still seen as “less bad” than the alternative.
Which, come to think of it, is as depressing a thought as any…
