Well, the post I was referring to did say “Italy is currently not providing hospital treatment to COVID-19 cases over 70 years old or with major co-morbidity problems.”

But actually, my main point was that we’re not getting major coverage of the fact that 70-year-olds might not be getting treated. For instance, the top story in the Google link you posted (thanks, BTW) was a Bloomberg story “Virus Spread Pushes Italian Hospitals Toward Breaking Point”, with sub-titles “80% of Lombardy acute-care beds are earmarked for coronavirus” and “Some hospitals suspend other treatments to focus on outbreak”. You have to go to the middle of the article to see “Some doctors have said that they sometimes make the call on who gets treatment based on the age of the patient.” How is that not the main emphasis of any article out there?

I am not disagreeing but do you think that is going to help anyone anywhere? This is our future and the likely future of all civilized societies. Do you think anyone wants to put that into words?
