Having worked in retail I have heard my share of loss prevention stories. My favorite was when I was working at John Wanamaker. Someone had put aside enough kitchen appliances to start a household. Microwave, stand mixer and so on. The problem was the person who did this was fired before they could get the stuff out of the store. They were fired for taking a day’s worth of cash sales two months earlier.
