We had family friends that had land and a cabin on Lake Superior. It was on the bluff and had a little beach (grandfathered-in) and you could see both Madaline and Long Islands from the house.

I grew up on Lake Michigan, but fell in love with Lake Superior. There is nothing like it up there.
