Had that happen in college…only they took our dope. We counted ourselves lucky as I was holding some heavier contraband that would have gotten us thrown in jail for sure, and took our marijuana possession tickets with a smile. My friend, Todd failed the drunk test, but as I’d been sleeping for a few hours in the back seat when he passed the cop and got us pulled over (we were all fucked up), I had enough of my wits about me to walk the line and get my car keys back from the cops. Neither of my two buddies drove another minute of that trip…they drank, I drove (and drank, yes…it was spring break).
