Looking back, I’m not sure. I’m going to venture a guess and say that it was because of all the little (and big) things that connected me to Norway and the attack. Then the Manifesto gave me a vent for my anger about what happened.

Back then, the Muslim Liberals I knew said I had become much crueler at the time. While I regret it now, at the time, I was blinded by a horrific amount of anger.

I imagine this is what people felt after 9/11. I wouldn’t now: The 9/11 happened in Middle School, my main teacher wouldn’t allow us to see the TV. I don’t know why. My class was the only one in the school to not see it. I wouldn’t see the footage from that day unmodified until 9/11/2010, on MSNBC.
