The right’s whole argument is that liberals only get mad when a minority is shot by a white person, and that if Zimmerman is Hispanic then the left’s narrative falls apart.

Historical facts should put such a notion to rest. Liberals oppose what they see as excessive use of force by the military, the police and police wannabes (Zimmerman). Chicago in 1968, Kent State in 1970, Rodney King in 1990, OWS this past year. In most of those cases, many of the victims were white; additionally, the alleged perpetrators were not monolithically white.
