I often wonder if it’s that people just don’t bother coping anymore, or if it’s that blowing people away like it’s the opening day of waterfowl season is the “new” way of coping.

Back in around ‘95 or so, I heard a radio commercial with a punchline of “It’s the ’90s answer to everything: If they tick you off, blow ‘em away.” I didn’t think anything of at the time, more an example of dark humor, but over the years I can’t help if that adwriter might have been possessed with some uncanny - and tragic - foresight.

You don’t have to cope if you have gunz…even if they only want to take themselves out, they take more people w/them, spouses, children, anyone.
