CBS talking headz bring up the “Ron Paul” rule - about winning at least 8 states - and points out that it is really important for Kasich to win 7 more contests or else he can’t be on the ballot in Cleveland.

What I didn’t realize is the rule applies for any round of balloting.

Certainly there will be a battle over rules.

That rule was created in the run up to the convention and the rules committee can undo it before this one or make up whatever rules they want for that matter. If Trump is going to win outright they probably wont bother, but if they want to change the rules they can.
