Don’t know about anyone else here, but I’ve had colds in the past where I woke up in the morning, feeling great, doing good, going about my daily routine then crawl into bed later that same day feeling like death warmed over.

Yup. I’ve had the flu a few times, and that’s exactly what has happened. I feel fine, and then I don’t. It’s like a switch goes off and my body says, WTF, get your ass to bed, collapse in a heap, shiver, and get a fever, and then lose appetite, etc.
