except hard-boiled. they are nearly impossible to peel as the eggs have not dried out enough for the inner membrane to separate from the shell.
Here is a method I use for hard boiled eggs:
Add about a Tablespoon of vinegar to the water you boil the eggs in.
When eggs are done, place them into a bowl of crushed ice.
When eggs have been chilled by the crushed ice they will be easy to peel.
