Why not throw down those verses on them? Ask them if Paul was wrong.

I tried that with a fundie preacher once. He kinda lost it and started repeating some nonesense about Mormons not being saved, different Jesus, etc. while a little spittle flew out of the corner of his mouth. When he tried to cast the devil out of me on a public train I decided the dicussion was pretty much over.

Now I just kind of agree to disagree when the neck veins start popping out. There are plenty of people who I can discuss the Gospel (and my understanding of it) with and not risk a stroke.

Needless to say it did not improve my impression of Calvanist Protestantism.
