if income tax goes away, then America essentially no longer has a federal government. Planes and tanks and satellites and NASA and the army and the navy and the coast guard and the FDA and the EPA and the CIA and the state department and the FBI and the NSA all need $$$ to operate.

I suppose we could have a gigantic national sales tax, that’d probably make a bunch of rich people happy
