I can see taking the sweets out of school lunches, breakfasts and dinners (yes, dinners, some schools now serve those) but I can’t see telling a child they can’t bring it themselves.

Our local district does not allow handmade goodies to be distributed to a class as a birthday celebration, only store-bought ones. My mother told me to retaliate by bringing fudgesicles.

What’s the reasoning behind only allowing store bought?
