Possibly a series of rescue ops for the other hostages.

It’s would be problematic an a lot of levels to blow up pirate infrastructure such as it is and have the remaining hostages get executed.

Pirates needed to be taken out. But the other hostages are a consideration, they aren’t American so it makes the whole thing a mess.

The lesson is, deal with thugs early and you avoid all kinds of problems.

As usual, we’ll have to do all the heavy lifting, as the Euros are more inclined to just keep opening their wallets.
