My niece just posted something on FB that tries me sorely.

She’s always posting these motivational quotes, about how only you can change your own life and how you really ought to, etc. Doesn’t leave a lot of room for being happy with your life as it is, plus puts all the blame on you if you aren’t.

Today she said, “Nothing happens if nothing happens”

When I say she tries me sorely, it’s because I’m trying REALLY HARD not to respond with “The First Rule of Tautology Club is the First Rule of Tautology Club.”

That wouldn’t be nice of me.

I will have to add that to my wall of quotes in my office.
