I am not a birther or a nirther, and have no reason to believe that BHO is not a citizen. However, it does seem odd that the one person who could end all this nonsense is BHO himself. Charles has stated that the short form certificate is the only one issued by Hawaii, but it does not seem credible that a request by he president of the USA to release a copy of the long form original certificate would not be honored. So it begs the question, why won’t he do this? John McCain had a similar controversy and quickly released all relevant documents to quickly resolve the matter.
