Major Teamsters pension fund to slash recipients’ benefits

I don’t understand how this is legal. Cutting benefits for people who aren’t currently drawing pension? Sucky, but at least you aren’t really changing the rules after the fact. Cutting for the retirees? Like I said, I don’t understand how that’s legal.
