The internet really is a double edged sword in so many ways. Wouldn’t trade it for the world mind you but it does allow crazies to get legitimacy in numbers in a way they could not in the past.

And they reinforce their own delusions, e.g., the American populace supports these “Patriots” when the only ones supporting them are other “Patriots”. Some may feel they have good intentions (like some of the ranchers in Burns) but few approve of their tactics.

Honestly, I don’t think wingnuts approve of this either. But it’s anti-Obama so it’s ok today. If there was a GOPer in high office, they would be blasting the crap out of these militia nuts for being anti-American.
