And I put that squarely on Bernie’s shoulders. He’s been dead for weeks. I had no problem with his staying in through the end, as useless as that was, but calling Clinton unqualified (seriously, Mr Lets Name a Post office) and then doing nothing to start to pivot to supporting her, as well as doing nothing for downstream races (three people? Fuck that!) makes me not just not like or appreciate him, but actively loath him.

To heck with all the veterans he’s supported on the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, or the VFW for naming him for their Congressional Action Award last year (they only give one a year), or the American Legion also praising his veterans work.

Forget he is known as the Amendment King (amendments being the way compromise is most often accomplished in the House and Senate). Got it.
