So far today, I’ve gotten FOUR calls on my phone from different numbers, pushing not only the old “Department of Social Security Administration” scam, where they say they ‘suspended your account’ after detecting ‘fraudulent activity’, but also a new one, where ‘an arrest warrant has been issued on your name’, also releted to fraudulent activity on my Social Security account.

I can only imagine what happens in an old person’s mind when they get these calls. The idea of not getting your Social Security benefits, plus whatever level of senility they suffer from, must make these calls very frightening!

Weird, I got that very same scam call (minus the “arrest warrant” shit) on my cell just yesterday. I reported it via the SSA website. NOT an easy process.
