The goal is to pick up votes you lost. If you say your going to take assault rifles from people who already own them you are validating what the right has been saying for years. THEY ARE GOING TO TAKE YOUR GUNS, That is a HUGE deal in states like Pa, Ohio and Wisconsin. If the Dems have to give up some of their progressive agenda then so be it. The country cannot take four more years of Trump. Don’t underestimate the importance of this issue.
