They always point to the Israeli armed forces as an example of a powerful fighting force but ignore that it’s been fully integrated since forever, including as far as I know anyway, LGBTQ+. I’m reasonably sure the PLA is too (maybe not so much LGBTQ+, but definitely women in combat roles). The Soviets had women as fighter pilots when we were still hmmming and hawwing about allowing black men into that job. The Soviets also had women Cosmonauts in orbit by 1963. We didn’t do that until 1983.
