the right wing media screams about “radical left radical left radical left violent radical left” to an audience who lives in a time warp; they’re boomers and they remember the 1960’s/1970’s when there really was a violent radical left.
But millennials, their memories of political violence start with Alan Berg and abortion clinic bombings/shootings, into Oklahoma City and 9/11.
To Gen-Z, the violent radical left is something they saw in a documentary once. Or they read something in a textbook about the time when Grandma was young.
