Well. I don’t think I can expect much from our local paper. Here’s my response from the Executive Editor, cut and pasted exactly as written:

Our reporters have written many stories on the on-going ocntroversy
about teaching creationism in public schools and will continue to do so.

I have forwarded your note to the editor who oversees that coverage to
look into the latest developments.

I’m guessing an “ocntroversy” is really a “controversy”.
And I do not recall seeing all that many stories - just some letters to the editor, both pro and con.

So that’s that for the local media’s interest, I guess.
