If we’re going to talk about only crazy people in dealing with firearms restrictions, how about addressing the fact that it was a crazy person who killed his mother to acquire the very weapons he used in the Newtown massacre before killing himself. The firearms that you claim make you safer were the very means of killing its owner before they were unleashed on the kindergarten class in Newtown.

W/o easy access to the firearms owned by his mother, the gunman in Newtown would have had a more difficult time acquiring the weapons.
