Not really. The magic is getting the base so worked up with fear and anger and hatred that nothing will keep then from voting. It helps to have had 24/7 media outlets dedicated to that purpose for the last six years.

The Dems have nothing like that now, and because some Dems are disappointed in what Obama hasn’t accomplished they’re just going to sit at home and sulk while the far, far right takes over the country.

That’s my opinion, anyway.

Unfortunately, you’re more right than you might think. Or they’ll go “independent” and vote for someone like Nader.
