thank you for reminding me why I am not on Twitter. I get enough of it from here and from other major news sites, for whom “trending on Twitter” is counted as a viable news item

I follow a number of accounts like @dog_rates, @possumeveryhour and a scad of cat accounts, so in between the depression, there are fluffy kittens and roly poly puppies.
