Global politics is like dealing with family members because you can’t get rid of them without doing some serious damage.

The observation has been made many times, about FDR with Stalin.

FDR is all smiling and polite and congenial.

Of course FDR knew Stalin order the killing of his own people.

But world politics makes for the strangest bedfellows.

If the world had heeded the cries that we just get off fossil fuels then we’d be far better off, and eliminating the politics of oil is right at the top of the list.
