Yeah it’s funny how something like hair color can be linked with personality.

I think this actually is racism, or comes from racism. Redheads were assumed to be Irish, and you know what they’re like. I think that is why gingers are more side-eyed in England than in the U.S. too. Here it is mostly a joke, but I detect some edge to it in England.
