Same argument as “Google it.” If you think I made a logical mistake, it is incumbent on you to point it out.

As I see it in my two examples, the only difference is degree (hijacking of a cartoon character versus an assassination). The procession of statements is precisely the same.

a) Peace symbol (actually the symbol of the organisation of Nuclear Disarmament) is hijacked by evangelical Christians to mean satanism (they often refer to it as a broken cross)
b) Peace symbol is explained (semaphore “N” plus “D”)
c) Evangelicals continue to attack symbol.
d) Explanation should never have been tried and peace symbol should be abandoned.
