I think it’s going to depend in large part on what the legislative picture looks like next year. John Marshall posted an opinion from an TPM reader the other day that pointed out that, while everybody’s focus is on the White House and Senate, the big earthshaker may end up being the House. If the Dems can make major inroads, in the neighborhood of 18-20 seats or more, then Boehner is gonna have no choice, he’s gonna have to start making deals.
