I got an odd question. I had googled but didn’t quite get all my questions answered. Does the stuff you smoke at a hookah place make you feel weird or anything?

No it is not mind altering in any way. Shisha (the tobacco typically in a hookah is essentially flavoured tobacco. If you are not a smoker, you may feel light headed from smoking but that it something that can occur to a non smoker who smokes a cigarette too. Lots of debate now as some are marketing Shisha in north America as a safer tobacco alternative. In fact it is not safer in any way, and there is some science to suggest that it is has more ill health effects than basic cigarette smoking (possibly relating to the coal burned to heat the hookah). All that said, it can make for a pleasant outing, and I have enjoyed it a few times. Wouldn’t make a habit of it.
