He also knows the General Assembly can’t override any of his vetos, because they have burned up the entire session wrangling over the budget. BTW, if they don’t have a budget deal in place by tomorrow morning, a lot of Kentucky state government will shut down July 1st for potentially the rest of the year, because Bevin has stated he will not call a special session.
