There was no real-life connection between ISIS and him. Doesn’t mean that he lied about committing what he did in the name of ISIS. So his call is strong evidence of his Islamism. Notably, his daddy seems to be a Taliban supporter. A family of assholes.

Or his call is an attention grab. As for his father, I don’t believe I read anywhere he was a supporter of the Taliban (you would have to provide me a link to that), but I have read where he thinks he is the President of Afghanistan (and rants about that on YouTube).
