That’s the same clip Kragar just posted. Neither fight is ‘realistic’, in the sense of how a ‘real’ fight with swords might go. The actions of the combatants (at least, the guys who get killed) in the Kurosawa clip are not accurate - they do some standing around and waiting, they lead with the head and body, etc. That doesn’t make it terrible - most films do something similar.

My point is that the elements of give and take, attack and defence, and most importantly where and how attacks are directed in the Obi-Wan/Maul fight are much more in keeping with how trained combatants fight. That’s what makes it more ‘realistic’.
