sure. this is what makes the ‘better athlete’ question so hard. i usually try to simplify it in my head to speed, stamina, strength, and coordination/athleticism/leaping ability.

AFL players win the stamina category…but that’s about it.

it’s also why i’d say that professional basketball players are the best all-around athletes in the world. many are off of the charts in all four categories.

I’d also give AFL guys the advantage in leaping & corordination (all players have to kick and handle at speed) over the NFL guys going through roster for roster.
