Mitt Romney spoke to .018% of registered Republicans. IMO-That’s a yawner. Of course what he says at every venue gets on the MSM, which is a very good thing. Far more meat here for critics than conservatives.

It’s that he’s choosing to speak before such an extremist bunch that is newsworthy. He apparently has no qualms about lurching to the right to appease the CPAC crowd instead of repudiating their anti-women stance on so many issues.

It’s newsworthy that he’s choosing to speak before a small group of extremists; he apparently feels it necessary to stump for votes there and to fit in with that crowd, rather than distance himself from the extremists who now inhabit the place.
