I will gloat in the fact that I loved avanti from the moment I clicked on his avatar. I was new and didn’t know he was the local pariah at the time and we got along well. I even defended him and got a few burn marks to show for it. It just took some time for people to come around. All’s well that end’s well.

Back in the day I used to get down-dinged for taking Avanti’s side, he always struck me as reasonable and centrist, though he was considered ultra-liberal in those days.
