It’s raining in the SF Bay Area. 0.08” in the past 10 minutes. That has doubled our rain for the season, woo hoo!

Thing that won me over to metric is how you can giver rain in liters/m² and that tells you how many millimeters /m² without conversion or vice versa.
because a liter spread over a m² is 1 mm deep.
