It is amazing to contemplate what donald trump could have gotten away with with almost no genuine scrutiny if he wasnt so fucking stupid. Republicans were literally willing to accept and defend even the most transparent of lies if he stuck with it. It is too terrifying to contemplate what would have happened if Trump had the same level of pure malice and evil without being so ridiculously incompetent and surrounding himself with idiots and yes men.

With each passing day, it becomes more obvious that Trump is actually worse than we initially assumed. We assumed a level of deviousness that’s simply not on display. Instead we have a demented sociopath who can’t understand why people are criticizing him for doing what he wants because he’s the president and thinks that means he’s the CEO of America.
