Susan Page from USA Today just lied on Hardball about the election. She said trump won the popular vote, and blah,blah blah Hillary. Nobody challenged her lie.

I didn’t listen to the program but my suspicion is that it wasn’t a deliberate lie but a verbal mistake. She probably didn’t even realize that’s what she said. Unless the context is clear and she said Trump won both the electoral and the popular vote, my guess is that it was a slip of the tongue. I’ve heard that happen many times on TV — sometimes it’s corrected and sometimes it is just overlooked.
