re: #106 really grumpy big dog Johnson

Once upon a time as a republican I thought that I tended toward the conservative sector of the party, with the possible exception of my social views, which tend to lean a bit more to the liberal side.

But I don’t recognize and refuse to recognize these types of folks as members of the same party as that to which I belong.

If people want to tread the paths of treachery and insanity, then I don’t think the party has to go with them. Thus the GOP effectively is shattered, smashed to pieces by right wing radicals who envision that they are the leaders of a party that truthfully wants nothing to do with them.

There will either be a reformed GOP or something else, but it’s clear to me that in the current climate, what is being proclaimed as my party is an obscene illegitimacy, and must expire from its own insanity.

These guys are to conservatives what ANSWER is to me—except, as people have pointed out, with guns. We need a more sophisticated political language to describe all these nutjobs.
