I don’t consider it a bummer…I consider it grandstanding…did BO speak out about the fires down here this season?…did FEMA come rescue the sheepherders, replace homes, or even have his pic taken on the fireline?…gimme a break…what they just said amounted to zero
FEMA Funding Made Available to Help Arizona Fight Monument Fire
Following a request from the state of Arizona, FEMA approved a Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG) within hours. At the time of the request, the fire was threatening residences, infrastructure, and utilities in and around southeast Sierra Vista, Ariz. The blaze has burned in excess of 3,000 acres of land and triggered evacuations for approximately 300 people.
If the state needed any further assistance from FEMA they were free to request it, just like always.
