Sullivan is an extreme neurotic, prone to freaking out.

Having said that, he deserves credit for realizing about 8 years ago that his party was no longer conservative in the traditional sense: they had become reactionary, theocratic, and extremely right wing. He was also one of the first quasi-neocons to admit that the whole philosophy and project in Iraq/Afghanistan was deeply flawed.

I like Andrew most of the time, but lets be real he wouldn’t have made the realization if he weren’t gay.
