Laying more taxes on business and individuals to cover a government plan that is not pegged to the same standards as private industry won’t bankrupt the country?

Answer me this, what about this plan from the government guarantees that it won’t turn into another boondoggle like the Veteran’s Administration, Medicare, Medicad, and Social Security?

Well, the GOP coming to the table constructively instead of screaming “death panel” at the top of their lungs would help. Aside from that, there really isn’t any guarantee. What about the private plan boondoggle right now reassures you that it won’t continue unabated?
