Morning Lizards.

Have a quick break before I need to get packed for today’s flight, but I see that, relevant to one of the discussions last tornado, seven of the nine deaths reported so far were inside their vehicles. (Gus, link has an autoplay video.)

Again, it’ll be really interesting to see how the reaction differed from the last tornado and whether that unfortunately put people in harm’s way - there was a nontrivial portion of the tornado track along some of the major interstates (I-40 in particular, I believe) and they were described as “parking lots.”

Hi You..I don’t know what to say about this..After 4 days of tornadoes and Moore being destroyed 2 weeks ago, I think there was a certain stress involved..
A Sort of feeling that I got to get the fuck out of here and just go..My Neighbors and I were talking about the same thing..We had a tornado early on that hit right by us at the University a few blocks away and everybody was ready to flee by car.. I’m glad we didn’t because I-35 was a parking lot by then.
We sat by the TV like everybody else watching hell and drinking beer. By the time it got really bad nobody was sober enough to drive and yet the senses were razor sharp ready for anything.. Strange feelings among everybody..Helpless yet in a survival mode.
Hard to explain but it was good to be with others and not alone just waiting.
