Yep, 9 children, married 54 years.
I am the oldest of 8 children. I don’t recommend large families but it can be a lot of fun when the swarms of grandchildren start coming along. My mother had 25 grandchildren when she died, ranging in age from 2 to 36 years.

My dad’s the youngest of six so I have a lot of cousins. We got your mother beat though. When my Nana died, her youngest grandchild was three and her oldest was forty five. Just some good natured ribbing, I know it’s not a contest.
