I don’t think Jenner is being stupid. I think she is being evil. The Republicans aren’t going to personally murder her for being trans, so she doesn’t give a shit. If a Republican wins, her taxes might go down, and there is literally no other issue to consider.

I know several trans women who are still Republicans. It is a matter of tribal identity that is very, very hard to break. I didn’t leave until 2007, which was 3 years after I came out as trans.
