True, although dead fetuses are routinely aborted at any major hospital, regardless of how late in pregnancy the death occurs.

I’m not certain, but I’m fairly sure that third trimester abortions only account for less than 2% of all abortions. So the relative paucity of facilities performing such procedures has little impact on the availability of abortion overall.
